About the character:
In a dystopian world far from our own, the age of light-travel has expanded the possibilities of inter-planetary communication and commerce.

Guy is a young mechanic from a family of traders. When a herd of local creatures stampede through his village, his mother and twin brother go missing. Everyone suspects they were devoured by the beasts, but he suspects they were captured by an outlaw in the area who was believed to be more of a legend than actual fact. Guy is alone in his suspicions and must follow leads from every tale of the old outlaw if he is to find his missing family.
